The Findlay Military Association and affiliated groups pulled out all the stops for their 25th anniversary show last May.   With over 200 vehicles, this show had it all, quantity, quality, and variety.   It continues to be hosted by the same trio of groups, the Ohio Motor Pool, The Marlboro Volunteers, and the Findlay Military Association, and for the 25th year it was the same well organized, family oriented event as always, but there was just more of it!

Show chairman Roger Neff was extremely happy with the way everything turned out for their 25th year.   He wasn't real sure how many vehicles they ended up with.   A couple different numbers have been floating around, but he really didn't care if it was 197 or 205.   He was just happy that they went over 151, which was their previous high.

The reenactors also did their part entertaining the crowds with a nicely done battle, which utilized a Dodge, some Jeeps and even a real Kubelwagen, and there was as always a spacious encampment area, with living history and equipment displays.   Roger Neff stated "the reenactor involvement has slowly but steadily grown " and that last year may have seen the largest reenactor turnout he can remember.

With so many vehicles, it would be hard to show every one of them here.   In the interest of displaying as many as possible, we'll break coverage into two parts, with this first part showing WWII era vehicles, and the second part covering post war vehicles.   Look for Part 2 coming soon.
