With the surge of M900 series trucks released by the military, it is no surprise that they have
turned up in greatly increased numbers at recent shows, and this Findlay Show was no exception. This year,
most of the variants were represented. Interestingly, there was also an unusually high number of M715 based
vehicles, maybe the most I've ever seen at once. The trend for first time vehicles or owners also continued
from last year. John Cheney II's Russian KrAZ 255 based PRV-16 radar truck made its Findlay debut, and first
time attendee Paul Baillargeon from the east coast brought a M901 Hammerhead and a Canadian Linx APC. Tom
Price also introduced his machine shop trailer, pulled by a M932A2, along with his LVT and ten other vehicles
that he managed to have on hand, while newcomer Brian Rivera brought his sharp 1970 M813 all the way from Evansville, IN.
It's too bad that the entire weekend couldn't have been as nice as Friday, but in the end it didn't matter.
Everyone had a great time anyway. With more vendors than ever, and a unending supply of vehicles, the Findlay
show is flourishing and growing. That's great because as I see it, it's all just more of a good thing.
