We had a fantastic time at the 2013 Shiloh Military Vehicle Show.   The weather cooperated and it was beautiful.   It didn't rain but we still had some mud so everyone was happy.   There were plenty of trails to discover on the farm, with most people avoiding the mud holes, but a few couldn't stay away.   John Cheney II's DUKW made its' maiden voyage, we had a super fish fry, and all in all, it was just a great weekend to be with friends.   This is a very kicked back, family friendly show, and the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy being around military vehicles.

Besides the Cheney DUKW, there was also Kevin Hess's M29C Weasel, but he didn't seem too interested in following John into the water.   Lance Miller was on hand to show his 1962 M1114, and it looked good cruising through the pasture, while a number of M35s and 5-tons were busy bounding down the trails all weekend.   Of special note was Collin Pritchard, who made the trip down from Chatham, Ontario, Canada to display his very nice 1990 Land Rover Defender 110.   There were also a number of Jeeps and other light vehicles on display and driving around, all under the dominating view of John Cheney's Nike missile.   This is a nice show and perfect get-a-way for the weekend or just the day.   Come out and join the fun!   For more info on this years show, see the Shiloh MV Show page.
