The 2014 Shiloh MV Show was another great event.   We followed our normal pattern of camp setup on Friday, followed by the fish fry and a short club meeting.   The weather was hot and dry, and the rain held off until after most everyone had left on Saturday.   The vendor area was a little bigger than in past years, and once again I managed to find something bring home.   The food area seemed bigger too, and was busy most of the day.   It was also interesting to see the new buildings on the Planktown hardware grounds.   It was the perfect summer day in the country, with all the sights, sounds, and colors, just with more OD added.

As always, it was great to see all the faces that make Shiloh fun.   There was a good selection of vehicles, and many made the trip back and forth, through the fields and woods all day long.   The two standout vehicles in my mind were the 1970 M561 Gama Goat brought by Tom Charell from Seville, Oh, and the Russian Ural radar truck, which was recently acquired by John Cheney II from the Ropkey collection.   Of course, the best part of the day was spending time with friends and fellow MV owners.   Shiloh is the perfect relaxing family day trip.   Be sure to add it to you calendar, August 14-15, 2015.   For more info on this years show, see the Shiloh MV Show page.
