The Sd.Kfz 251 was a 3-ton half-track produced by Hanomag, however the hull and superstructure were
built by Bussing-NAG. The first examples were delivered to the German forces in early 1939,
and it went on to become a mainstay of the Panzer formations. It had a 6-cylinder engine that
produced 100hp, and could do 32 MPH on a good road, all while carrying up to 12 troops. It
was primarily used as an armoured personal carrier, however there were a multitude of variants and
modifications.
