The Demag D7 one-ton half-track, designated the Sd.Kfz 10, was the lightest artillery tractor in
the German inventory. It was designed in 1934 to tow light ordnance and carry its eight-man
crew. The weapons included the 37mm Pak 35/36, the 75mm leIG 18, the 150mm sIG 33, and also
the 50mm Pak 38 and 75mm Pak 40. Later variants mounted either a 20mm Flak 30 or Flak 38 on
a rear platform, with fold down sides. It was powered by a 6-cylinder engine, and could reach
40 mph. It was a very popular vehicle, with more than 17,000 produced by war's end.
